She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Reginal and Connie Mae Taylor; her husband James Harrington; her daughter Abbie Gail Beasley; and her siblings, Arthur Ray Taylor, C. J. Taylor, Sybil Sheesley and Edna Combs.

She is survived by : her children, James B Harrington Jr. (Katmini) and Marceil Guillott of Frankston; and her grandchildren, DeeDee, Linda, James III, Teresa, Wendy, Snapper, Scott, Christie and Shawn. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in Opal's honor.
