Audelle Burkey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audelle Burkey of Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Woerner and Christine Woerner; her husband Randall Burkey; her son Troy Hagel; and her sister Maedelle Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Self (Major) of San Antonio and Lori Pieratt (William) of Las Cruces; her grandchildren, Major Self III (Susan), Matthew Self (Marissa), Connor Pieratt (Haley) and Catherine Pieratt; her great grandchildren, Jacob (Major) and Nolan (Matthew); and her sister Joyce Roberts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Bristol Hospice, Doss Volunteer Fire Department, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice.
