He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Eckert and Myrtle Kuhlmann Eckert; and his former wife Lois Willmann Eckert. He is survived by: his wife Chrissy Hansen Stuewe; his children, Stacey Eckert of Houston and Teri Eckert-Cox (Mark) of Denton; his stepchildren, Timothy, Stacy Stuewe, Steven, Amy Stuewe of Fredericksburg, Mary and Noah Greene of Fredericksburg; and his sister Joyce Carson (David) of Pocatello, ID. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 13 step-grandchildren.
