Eckhardt and Antonie Selma Eckhardt (Braeutigam); his wife Carol Kay Rode; and his siblings, Alvin Eckhardt, Clemens Eckhardt (Dottie), Esther Williams (Jerry), Gilbert Eckhardt, Adeline Carter (Al), Norma Hoffmann (Boyce), Victor Eckhardt (Josie) and Eric Eckhardt (Gladys).
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Eckhardt Cox of Fredericksburg and Dianne Eckhardt of Fredericksburg, Three; his grandchildren, Quentin, Jordan and Evelyn Cox of Fredericksburg, Many; and his caregivers, Melissa, Maria and Anyssa. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
