She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Klaehn and Katie Arhelger Klaehn (Kermit E. A. Eckert); her son Daryl R. Eckert; and her siblings, Marie Ottmers, Betty Hemmeter, Raymond Klaehn and Marvin Klaehn.
She is survived by: her son Brian K. Eckert (Mary) of Fredericksburg; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Eckert Simpson of Fredericksburg; her grandchildren, Chance Eckert (Ashleigh), Caden Eckert (Hope), Cullen Eckert (Melissa), Hailey Hoffmann (David) and Gavin Eckert (Drue); her brother Roy Klaehn (Debbie) of Fredericksburg; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Klaehn of Fredericksburg, Opal Klaehn of Buda and Marjorie Otte (Ken). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
