We announce the death of Gary Dean Jost of Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 77. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elgin Jost and Anita Anderegg Jost; and his daughter Victoria Newkirk. He is survived by: his son Jason Jost (Shila) of Fredericksburg; his brother Myron Jost (Kandice); and his grandchildren, Lexi and Jake Jost.
