He is survived by: his daughters, Trese Collins (Tammy McKeever) and Torri Ehrlich (Johnney Ehrlich); his grandchildren, Joshua Strong (Kat), Ariel Dickson (Victor), Skylar Lopez (Falon), Joel Pepper Collins (Oly), Landen Lopez (Leah), Serena Beirschwale (Zach) and Sean Ehrlich; his great grandchildren, Beau, Kaylen, Nova, Skylar, Kaeden, Everly, Atticus, Aurora, Willow, Forrest, Eleanor and Charlie; his friends, Brenda K. and James Dunn; and his grandchild Poppie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Joel's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
