Joseph Eilers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 86, Joseph Eilers of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Eilers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elbert Eilers and Elizabeth Grafe Eilers; and his sisters, Betty Jean Eilers, Shirley Eilers Jennings and Emilie Eilers.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jung of Anthony's Catholic Church; and his children, Mitch (Amber Maner), Joe Don (Leaneta Eilers), Lacy (Andrea Freeman), Chip (Audri Bowers), John (Melinda Eilers) and Jed (Brenda Eilers). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schaetter Funeral Home-Fredericksburg (301 E San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (304 W San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to, St. Mary's School Endowment Fund, St. Mary's Loving Care, St. Mary's Act's, or to the charity of your choice.
