He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elbert Eilers and Elizabeth Grafe Eilers; his sisters, Betty Jean Eilers, Shirley Eilers Jennings and Sister Emilie Eilers; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Weaver.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jung of Anthony's Catholic Church; his children, Mitch (Amber Maner), Joe Don (Leaneta Eilers), Lacy (Andrea Freeman), Chip (Audri Bowers), John (Melinda Eilers) and Jed (Brenda Eilers); his siblings, Tommy (Cindy), Paul (Kathy), Michael (Judy), Timothy (Lori), Mary Lindig (Johnny) and Cindy Eilers-Weaver; and his brother-in-law Warren Jennings. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to, St. Mary's School Endowment Fund, St. Mary's Loving Care, St. Mary's Act's, or to the charity of your choice.
