She is survived by: her son-in-law Joshua Smith (Melody) of Fredericksburg, TX; her sisters, Alejandrina Merino Sanchez (Celso) of Tyler, TX and Consuelo Merino Flores of Johnson City, TX; and her sister-in-law Lupe Merino of Bastrop, TX.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
