He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Remmers and Ruby Lee Henley Remmers; his wife Irene Elizabeth Langehennig of Mary's Catholic Church; his grandchildren, Winston Welch and Haeli Lingo; his son-in-law Kelly Kasper; and his brother Larry Maples.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie (Charles Taft), Kim (Gary Welch), Sherry Kasper of Fredericksburg and Robert (Linda Remmers Jr.); and his brother-in-law Norman (Jean Merz) of Fredericksburg, Texas.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren, Brother-in-law.
