He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Vaughan and Sterling Vaughan; his siblings, Loreta Faye Walker (Buddy), Sue Smallwood and Charles; and his brother-in-law Jim Landram.
He is survived by: his wife Patt Hintenach Vaughan; his children, Michael Vaughan of Colorado and Angela Vaughan Edwards (Greg) of Bulverde, Texas; his sister Elsie Lee Vaughan Landram of Chester, Texas.; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Brater, Kristi Walker, Leesa Dewalt, Michele Smallwood, Sherry Smallwood, Brad Walker and Grady Smallwood; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara, Duayne Harrison and Heidi Hintenach.
