He is survived by: his children, David Hawkins (Mary Jeanne), Charlotte Bell (David), Wayne Freeman (Laura), Randy and Tashia Bayes; his grandchildren, Melanie Hawkins, Samuel Hawkins, Tammy Bell and Joshua Bell (Anaely); his great grandchildren, Wiley Thomas and Douglas Williams; and his wife Jane Broussard Hawkins. He is also survived by his children and honorary children, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
