He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Preston and Flemmie Preston; his wives, Arnezer McCoy Preston, Lectrice Brenda Lewis Preston and Armer Kimble Preston; his daughter Lura Jean Hill; his siblings, John Elma Preston, Vastine Preston, Loreno Preston, Lloyd Preston, Lorretha Henderson and Lucille Jones; and his grandson Rashawn Randle.
He is survived by: his children, Flem Preston Jr. (Anita) of Bedias, TX and Edna Christian of Galveston, TX; and his stepsons, Byron Collins (Verlinda) of League City, TX and Tyron Collins (Tammie) of League City, TX. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
