She was predeceased by: her husband Ernesto P. Gonzalez; her parents, Cecilio Alaniz and Olivia Alaniz; her brother Carlos Luna (Bobby); her stepgrandson Brandon Garcia; Fabianita Guajardo (Abel), Delia Cantu (Luis), Sofia Broussard (Dudley), Elma Marquez (Domingo), Dalia Pantalion (Ray), Lily Adami (Joe), Pepe Gonzalez (Minnie), Corina Flores (Juan), Amador Gonzalez, Erineo Gonzales (Omedi) and Eloy Gonzalez.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine M. Garcia (Larry Garcia) of Freer, Texas and James Daniel Gonzalez (Videlia Zinn) of Freer, Texas; her grandchildren, Sergio Galvan (Natalie Galvan) of Bishop, Estevan Galvan of Freer, Analisa Middleton (Sylvester Middleton) of Alice and Rebeka Gonzalez of Freer, Texas.; and her sister-in-law Linda Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garza Funeral Home (120 S Sun Ave, Freer, TX 78357). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garza Funeral Home - Freer (120 S Sun Ave, Freer, TX 78357). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1500 S Duval Ave, Freer, TX 78357). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Hahl Memorial Cemetery.
