We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Richard James Gonzalez of Freer, Texas, born in Kingsville, Texas. He was predeceased by : his grandfathers, Welo Martin "Chico" Gonzalez and Welo Victor "Guero" Guerra. He is survived by : his parents, Orlando Gonzalez and Alma Gonzalez of Freer, Texas; his grandmothers, Bertha Ortiz (Layo Ortiz) and Odilia Guerra (Jesse Moreno); his siblings, Orlando Gonzalez Jr. Nikolas Antonio (Ashley Gonzalez), Jennifer Nicole Gonzalez (Eric Leal), Jessica Lynn Gonzalez (Frankie Sanchez) and Angelia Odilia Gonzalez; and his cousins, Victor Joel Espinoza (Annette Cantu), Ashley Leann Serna (Roel Perez), Abigail Marie Serna, Valda Raeann Cano (Miguel Carrillo) and Kayla Michelle Philippi. He is also survived by two nieces; eight nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we will be following all CDC and Government mandates and ask each guest to do so as well. We ask everyone to follow social distancing and wear masks inside the funeral home and church.
