We are sad to announce that, on November 6, 2025, at the age of 67, Darrell Gordon Cole of Friendswood, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Lavern and Marjorie Vollert Cole; and his father-in-law Adan Flores, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Flores Cole; his siblings, Rhonda Cole Thrailkill (Chris) and Clint Randall Cole (Laura); his niece Aubrei Cheri Cole Thomas (Trevor); his nephews, Julian Cael, Gavyn Robert and Keia Amalia Thomas; his mother-in-law Eva Flores; his siblings-in-law, Linda Gorski (Ron) and David Flores; his nieces and nephews, David Danny Flores (Alexandria), Richard Aaron Flores, Michael Anthony Flores (Megan), Samuel Rene Flores (Bethany), Thomas Ian O'Brian and April Lee (Stephen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Valerie Brooke O'Brian, Aubriana, Elijah and Cove Flores.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of the Friendswood Public Library, honoring Darrell's lifelong love of learning and community.
