It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Roy Wells of Friona, Texas, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jim may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Clay and Jewell Lola Johnson Wells; and his brothers, Harold Joe Wells and Max Dewaine Wells. He is survived by: his wife Cherry Beck; his children, Dara (Keith) and Jason (Pat); and his grandchildren, Alek, Avril, Cody and Wellsley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
