He is survived by: his wife Sreekala Ashokkumar; his children, Sagar Nair and Swathy Nair; his children-in-law, Monisha Mohan and Ashwin Nair; and his siblings, Sarasamma Nair (New Jersey), Padmini Pillai, Lalitha Gangadharan (India), Leela Swamy (Ohio), Thangamani Nair and Ajay Nair (New Jersey).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hughes Family Tribute Center (9700 Webb Chapel Rd, Dallas, TX 75220).
