He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gunnarson and Pearl Gunnarson of Lake Bronson, Minnesota.; his wife Marilyn Gunnarson; his son Gregory Gunnarson; and his sister Darlene Zaugg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Janak (Dean) and Patricia Grossman (Steve); his grandchildren, Allison Achtenberg (Alan), Grayson Janak and Jordyn Kindiger (Clay); and his brother Donald Gunnarson (Norma).
