He is survived by: his son Christopher Charles Blackwell; his sister Cheryl Lynn Sterling Davis (Fee); his family, Lawrence and Lois Washington; his siblings-in-law, Carlyn W. Early (CaCa), Lauren W. Harrison (Badou) and Stephen Michael (Steve); his siblings' children, Jamaal, Jason, John V, Donald, Ronald, Justin, Warnell, Travis, Nikia, Rachaun, Adriana, Cherronda, Cacy-Lynn and Taheera; his close friends, Tuwana L. and Lemoine Jones (Peanut); his adoptive sons, Jason Tyler, Trent (Shey), Robert and Jeremy; his close friend Mark; and his brother Lawrence Sterling (Towana). He is also survived by brothers, sisters, cousins and an aunt.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cottonwood Park (900 Lobo Ln, Little Elm, TX 75068).
