He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Chennault and Sarah Chennault; his siblings, Clarence, Edgar, Melba, Dorothy, Ellen, Dudley, Steve and Joe; and his son-in-law Stephen Cramer.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Chennault; his daughter Amy Chennault Gannon; his son-in-law Frank Gannon; his sister Sarah Wortham; and his sister-in-law Mitzi Duncan (Mike Duncan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
