Kay was predeceased by: parents, Nellie McCormick and Herbert McCormick. Kay is survived by: former husband Ronald W. Cherry; husband Ron Cherry of Frisco, Texas; children, Jason Cherry (Ginny) of Frisco and Ashley Smith (Steven) of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jewell, Sidney, Shepherd Smith, Trent and Tate Cherry; and siblings, Jimmy McCormick (Carolyn) of Houston, Carolyn Gautraux (Jimmy) of Beaumont and Doug McCormick (Kim) of Houston, Texas. Kay is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
