She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis James "Salty" Parker and Thelma Millard Parker; and her sister Jean Parker Latterner. She is survived by: her husband William Raleigh Carter; her children, Lauren Carter Jackson (Matthew Murray Jackson) and Ryan Raleigh Carter; her grandchildren, Parker Murray Jackson, Grace Anne Jackson, Ella Caroline Carter, Dylan Raleigh Carter and Campbell Carter Jackson; and her sister Francis "Franny" Parker Collins (C. Peyton Collins). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
