He was predeceased by: his parents, Nona Aday and Delmar Aday; his siblings, Judy Caramanna and Donald Aday; and his brother-in-law Ernie Moreno.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Aday of Frisco, Texas; his children, Jennifer Dennis Atwood (Eric Austin) of Frisco and Mathew Dennis of Austin, Texas; his granddaughters, Alexis and Jordan Atwood of Frisco, Texas; his siblings, Patricia Moreno of Cambria, California and James Aday (Linda) of Pleasant Hill, Oregon; his sister-in-law Diana Aday of Eugene Oregon; his nephews, Sean Aday (Kiersten) of Washington, DC and Tracy Roberts of Washington; and his niece Anna Caramanna of Portland Oregon.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Texas or St. Philip's Episcopal Church Mission and Outreach.
