He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edwards and Mary Edwards; and his brother Bill Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sarrett Edwards; and his daughters, Dawn Edwards and Shannon Edwards Hyatt (Matt Hyatt).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Stonebriar Funeral Home (10375 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75033).
He became the director of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Educational Foundation.
