He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Koscelnik and Julia M. Koscelnik (Hrivnyak); his wife Madge (Crocker); and his son John "Kos" Koscelnik. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Koscelnik of Erie, Pennsylvania, Timothy Koscelnik (Susan) of Canton, Georgia, Valerie Koscelnik of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Carolyn Short (Bill) of Frisco, Texas.; and his grandsons, Caleb and Nicholas Koscelnik. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc. (2122 Raspberry St, Erie, PA 16502). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Catholic Church (5145 Peach St, Erie, PA 16509). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (6248 W Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Erie Humane Society, or the American Association for Cancer Research.
