He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Nichols and Edith Nichols; his brother Tip; his nephew Daryl; and his grandson Nicklaus.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, David (Jill) and Susan Reichert (Kurt); his granddaughters, Natalie Jones (Joseph), Megan Toliver (Guy Jr.), Melissa Goldman (Quinn) and Kimberly Camarse (Jason); his great grandchildren, Guy III, Teigan, Easton, Avery, Landon, Miles, Knox, Isla and Nolan; his sister-in-law Charlotte Nichols; his nephew Doug Nichols (Karen); and his great-niece Evelyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christian Community Action (200 S. Mill Street, Lewisville) or Grace Avenue United Methodist Church (3521 Main St., Frisco).
