He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; and his sister Gail. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Wright of Pampa and John David Wright; his grandchildren, Lisa Marie Kosarek and Austin Melendrez; his great grandchild Ivory Elizabeth Marie Kosarek; his brother-in-law James Gray (Griz) of Fritch; his nephews, James N. Gray III (Kerri) and David J. Gray; and also Sarah. He is also survived by extended family, which includes many cousins.
