He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Hunter and George Hunter; his siblings, Olive, George Arnold, Allen, David and Wanda Gay; and his granddaughter Katherine "Kita" Scalise.
He is survived by: his sister Janie Hunter Wachel; his wife Janet Brzowski Hunter; his children, Kimberly Hunter Beason (Beau Beason), Mary Hunter Scalise, Seresa Michelle Hunter Crowson (Duane Crowson) and Clifford Hunter, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Frank Ashton Scalise, Dillon Wayne Crowson, Joshua Christian Scalise, Devyn Michael Crowson, Daxton Samuel Crowson, Luke Matthew Scalise, Grace Elizabeth Scalise Luke, Dustin Paul Crowson, Sebastian "Bain" Beason, Jade Ryann Beason, Ashton Taylor Beason, Dani Ellis, Casey Ellis, Evan Ellis, Kristyn Paige Jackson and River Brzowski.
