He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Andrew, Sr. and Lora Aletha Moore (Steenrod); his siblings, Joseph Andrew Moore, Jr., Jim Moore, Ralph Moore and Imogene Koenig; and his stepchildren, Shauna Reed and Randy Hutson.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Moore; his children, Jim Moore and Kim Dane; his sister Naomi Gregory; his brother-in-law James Hurst; and his pet Scampie Bowzer Moore. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and many cousins; his faithful.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
