He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Newton and Mary Hazel West (Byrne); his siblings, Landon West (Norma) and Jeannine Faulkner (Pete); and his brother-in-law Harvey Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Sewell (Monta), Dena Heffley (Doug), Trent West (Jill), Vince West (Mandy), Aleta Howell (Arthur) and Dax West (Jami); his sisters, Martha Welch and Kathy Clark; and his grandchildren, Aaron Heffley (Karen), Jason Heffley (Cynthia), Adrian Sewell (Courtney), Ryan Sewell (Anna Beth), Chelsea McKnight (Benjamin), Payson West (Brooke), Phoenix West, Lexin West, Zoe Gregg, Henley West, Slaid West, Creede West and Hollen West. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nelson Grove Cemetery.
