It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Porter of Gainesville, Texas, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Murphy Porter and Marcia Florence Porter (Hemphill). He is survived by: his wife Kelly Powers of Gainesville; his brothers, Les Porter (Brenda) of Denton, Paul Porter of Farmers Branch and Joe Hemphill of The Woodlands; his daughters, Denise Hannesschlager (Mike) of Springfield, VA, Sarita Cleveland (Kevin) of Gainesville and Ally Asaff (Eric) of Hurst; and his grandchildren, Avery, Noelle, William, Marcus, Emalee, Nova, Alex, Eli, Emily, Makayla, Kenny and Zander.
