He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cleveland Smith and Ruby Imajean Turner; his son-in-law Nicholas Conditt; and his brother-in-law Larry Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Rosanna Smith (Rosie); his daughters, Rebecca Conditt-Schaber, Trena Reed and Rachel Smith; his sons-in-law, Randy Reed and Wayne Schaber; his grandsons, Anthony Conditt, Ethan Conditt and Alexander Conditt; and his siblings, Linda Alexander, Glenda Smith, Charles and Glen Smith. He is also survived by eight nephews.
