We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 77, Gerald Moore of Gainesville, Texas, born in Texarkana, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, G. C. Moore and Nellie Moore (Stanford); his parents-in-law, Hollis and Mary Ashford; and his brothers, Ray Moore and Eddie Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Roseanne Moore of Gainesville; his daughters, Penni Edington (Matt) of Gainesville and Shannon Moore of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Dakota Nichols (Paola), Kenedy Almeida (Carlos), Kielyn Lewis, Makenna Lewis, Landin Lewis, Trysten Edington (Alyssa), Tyler Edington (Shemiyah) and Ahnna Edington; his great grandchildren, Camila and Khloe; his sister Janice Sitton (Joe) of Perrin; his pet Izzy; and his friend Melody Helton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
