He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Tatum and Nita Tatum; and his brother Emmett Tatum. He is survived by: his parent-in-law Fredda Blamire; his wife Fredda Tatum of Gainesville; his daughters, Kimberly Carroll (David) of Lake Kiowa and Stephanie Crooks (Christopher) of Denton; his grandchildren, Megan Campbell (Brendan), Blake Carroll, Carson and Chase Crooks; his great grandchildren, Shiloh and Aryn Campbell; his siblings, Frances Russell of Collinsville and Ronnie Tatum of Gainesville; and his sister-in-law Sharlene Willis (Stanley) of Gainesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the youth ministry of Cooke County Cowboy Church, Noah's Ark SPCA, or Home Hospice of Cooke County.
