The memory of Janelle Cummins of Gainesville, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Crump and Ellie Evelyn Conyers (Ray); her husband Gene Cummins; her brother Bob Conyers; her son-in-law Ronnie Gunter; and her granddaughter Jamie Leigh Cummins.
She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Teena Cummins of Gainesville; her daughter Debbie Merritt of Lindsay; her brothers, J. C. Conyers of Denison and Charles; her sister-in-law Sharon Conyers of Corinth; her brother Kenny; her sister-in-law Jan Conyers of Sherman; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Will Robertson, Bill Haley, Jodi, Paul Nixon, Erin, Matt Helwig, Brett Gunter and Colt Gunter. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
