He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Lorene Spann, Jack and Evelyn Fenoglio; his parents, Charles Spann and Mary Teel; his stepfather Bill Teel; his parents-in-law, Larry Matthews and Carol Matthews; and his sister Teresa Spann.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Spann; his children, Amber Bagley (Jason), Lane Spann (Jennifer) and Sydnee Spann; his aunt Clara Boyd; his stepmother Lori Spann; his brother Jerrry Williams (Carol); Candy Campbell (Mike) and Cathy Huddleston (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Ponder (101 S, TX-156, Ponder, TX 76259).
