It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cary Wayne Cooper in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Thelma Daucette Testor; his stepfather Joseph M. Testor; his father Lionel C. Cooper Sr.; and his brothers, Penn Lee Cooper and Charles P. Testor.

He is survived by : his wife Kay M. Cooper; his son David W. Cooper (Jane); his grandsons, Anthony and Alan; his daughter Karen C. Welsh (Rodney); his grandchildren, Devin, Dillon and Katie; his brothers, Lionel C. Cooper Jr. and James M. Testor; and his close friends, Benito Ramos and Dr. Husong Li.
