He is survived by: his parents, Shanna Marie Ridley and John William Mortensen of Galveston, Texas.; his pet Cleo; and his grandparents, Lisa Dunn Ridley of Houston, John "Sonny" Dupuy of Abbeville, LA and Marie Mortensen of New Iberia, LA.
