He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gray and Grace Gray; his brother Danny Gray; his parents-in-law, Odis and Naomi Rucker; his brother-in-law John Rucker; and his nephew Chris Rucker.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Rucker Gray; his daughter Sabra Slade (Ronnie) of St Simons Island, Georgia; his sister Sherry Rendon (Jody) of Waxahachie, Texas; his niece Stephanie Vest; his great-niece Ashton Vest of Waco, Texas; his friend Barbara Hinkle; Jennifer Wuensch (Ryan) of Spring, Texas., Ronnie Slade, Bob Anderson, Gordon Gallagher, Jimmie Carroll, Wes Whitfield, Gary Hinkle, Jody Rendon and Ryan Wuensch.
