She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Strelec Kucera and Joe V. Kucera; her former husband Joe Tupa Jr.; her in-laws, Albina Janecka Tupa and Joe E. Tupa Sr.; her husband Tony Piegsa; her brothers, Leo and Johnny Kucera; and her son-in-law James.
She is survived by: her friend Tony Piegsa; her children, Michael Tupa (Karen), Melinda Tupa-Morris and Mark Tupa (Vicki); her grandchildren, Jonathon Tupa (Kacey), Amy Tupa, Brice Morris (Lauren), Brittney McGehee (Brett), Sheridan Tupa (Stephen), Barrett, Blane and Pierce Tupa; and her nephews, Scotty, Randy and Jason Kucera.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
