He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen Jerome "Jerry" Labay, Sr. and Ludmilla Labay; his siblings, Johnny Labay, Tommy Labay, Joe Labay and Dolores Adler; and his daughter Lynette Labay Cox.
He is survived by : his wife Jeanette Labay; his children, Michele Bures (Joey) of Ganado, Mike Labay (Kathy) of Ganado and Pat Labay of El Campo; his grandchildren, Jamie, Heath, Matthew, Ashley, Shelby, Seth, Josh, Jessalyn and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Jaxyn, Saylor, Beau Bures, Luke, Halie, Maverick, Beckett Bures, Logan, Kole, Madi Bay, Bearen Bures, Joey Michele, Rush William and Ripp Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Assumption Catholic Church or to Matthew 25 Ministry, P. O. Box 369, Ganado, Texas 77962.
