He was predeceased by: his parents, Chrisoforo Muñiz and Petra Lopez; his wife Martina DeLaFuente; and his siblings, Fidel Muñiz, Domingo Muñiz, Margarita Torres, Maria Castillo and Isabel Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Muñiz and Sandra Ramirez (Pedro Jr.); his son-in-law Ruben Martinez Sr.; his grandchildren, Manuela Morillos (Joshua), Mayra Uvalle (Rene), Ruben Martinez Jr. (Gabriela), Leonardo Muniz (Ashley), Pedro Ramirez III (Nayobi), Ismael Ramirez, Alexis Ramirez, Adan Ramirez (Elizabeth), Henry Ramirez, Samuel Martinez and Adrian Ramirez; his great grandchildren, Lily Morillos, Sonny Uvalle, Isaiah Martinez, Sophia Uvalle, Isaac Martinez, Serenity Uvalle, Elianna Martinez, Leylani Martinez, Alayah Ramirez, Layla Ramirez and Josiah Ramirez; and his siblings, Enrique Muñiz, Amelia Torres and Eva Herrera.
