He was predeceased by: his parents, William Donald Watts and Martha Frances Watts; his daughter Diana Lynn Watts; his grandson James Luther Jumper; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Caraway, Bill Cook and Joseph Frizzell.

He is survived by: his wife Billie Sue Frizzell; his children, Donna Ross (Jim Ross), Debra Jumper and Donald Watts (Terry Watts); his grandchildren, Jamie Glass (Timmie Glass), Sara Ross (Aaron Jones), Taylor Ingram (Kevin Ingram), Misty Day and Shon Day (Elizabeth Day); his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Kenlee, Avery, Campbell and Callan; his sisters, Betty Caraway and Frances "Suggy" Cook; and his nieces and nephews, Shaun, Karla, Bryan and Brandon.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that members of South Garland Baptist Church make donations to the youth scholarship fund for youth camp. Those non-members are asked to make a donation to their youth scholarship fund to assist youth with going to church camp to find Christ.
