She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Ruth Ross and Harry Barton Carroll. She is survived by: her daughter Misty Dawn Vaughan; her husband Jayan Vadakeveettil; her grandson Lijith Jayan; her siblings, Linda Ann Dewitt and James Barton Carroll; her nieces and nephews, Anna Christine Dewitt Grant, Sarah Kaylin Carroll, Samuel Barton Carroll and Leslie Barton Carroll; her daughter April Magliocco; and her close friend Fayanda Davis. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In honor of Catherine's love for animals, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter or the SPCA in lieu of flowers.
