He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Brandon Whiteside and Nellie Harrison Whiteside; and his siblings, Nellavee Whiteside Starling and Rex Whiteside. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Landrum Whiteside; his brother Charles Whiteside (JoAnn); his sons, Jack, Ken and Curt; his children-in-law, Karen, Linda and Kim; his grandchildren, Jason Whiteside (Loren), Jonathan Whiteside (Shalini), DeAnn Place (Bobby) and Katie Whiteside (Seth Schuyler); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Whiteside, Jackson Whiteside, Rollin Place, Julian Whiteside, Drew Schuyler, Theresa Hobbs (Royce) and Rebecca Sanders (Steven); Belinda O'Brien (Michael). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
