He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Winter and Conra Winter. He is survived by: his wife Margie Dianne Keiffer Winter; and his daughters, Kathryn Ann Butler (Barry), Kelly Sue Dreier (Kent) and Kristy Celeta Shaw (Mark). He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Of Garland McDonald Activity Center (425 S 9th St, Garland, TX 75040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Garland McDonald Activity Center (425 S 9th St, Garland, TX 75040). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (13005 S Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081).
