He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Collard and Janice Collard (Crow). He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Collard and John Collard (Julie); his sister Lori McGill (Kevin); his grandchildren, Hannah, Ariel, Jackson, Kynsley Collard and Ryin Jacksics; his nephews, Kevin McGill (Becca Walters) and Keaton McGill; his niece Kiernan McGill; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nolan, Renner McGill, Birch and Lila Walters McGill.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1520 Blackburn Rd, Sachse, TX 75048).
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Gary's memory to the ASPCA would be a very appropriate tribute.
