He is survived by: his children, Nancy Nicodemus and Evan Jerome Phillips; his adoptive son Richard Earl Phillips; his brother Anthony Phillips (Tony); his sons, Gary and Shirley Phillips (Gary); and his grandson Austin Wayne Phillips. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
