She was predeceased by: her mother Frances Carpenter Murphy; her grandmothers, Smallwood, Lillie Hibbard, Frances Wagers and Charlene Murphy; her husband Wilford Slusher; her sons, Wilford Slusher Jr. and Charles Joshua Slusher; and her siblings, Jimmy Murphy, Ruby Murphy, Ninnie Hornsby and Mary Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Slusher Mixon; her son-in-law Larry Mixon; her grandsons, Christopher Mixon and Matthew Mixon (Maria Mixon); her great grandchild Lion Mixon; and her sibling Charlie Murphy Jr. (Carolyn Murphy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
